Set up Career Agent

Before you start

Career Agent requires QuickCV Pro, a suitable source resume, target-role information, and the required cover-letter context. Complete missing prerequisites before activation.

Configure Career Agent

1. Open Career Agent from the dashboard.
2. Choose the source resume.
3. Add one or more target roles.
4. Set a salary floor and remote preference.
5. Review the saved configuration.
6. Activate Career Agent.

Use targets you would genuinely consider so overnight searches produce useful results.

Understand agent states

Not set up means required inputs are missing. Configured but inactive means settings are saved but overnight work is off. Active means QuickCV can search for matching roles and prepare kits. A Free paywall means activation requires Pro.

What happens next

Career Agent searches overnight. Prepared kits appear in Agent Inbox for review; QuickCV does not submit an external application for you. An active inbox with no pending kits is a valid empty state, not proof that setup failed.
