Review application kits in Agent Inbox

Approve or dismiss application kits prepared by Career Agent.

Before you start

Agent Inbox requires QuickCV Pro — there is no Free-plan access to it, not even a limited view. Open it on a Free account and QuickCV shows an upgrade prompt in its place: "Activate Your Background Agent — Let AI find and score jobs overnight, then review pre-built Application Kits in your Agent Inbox." Nothing else on the page loads until you upgrade; no kits, resumes, cover letters, or career-intent data are requested. Compare Free and Pro if you're not sure yet.

Once you're on Pro, Career Agent separately needs a resume, at least one target role, and cover-letter context before it has anything to prepare. Set up Career Agent covers adding all three and turning on overnight searches.

Open Agent Inbox

  1. Open Agent Inbox — from the dashboard's Agent Inbox link, the command palette (⌘K / Ctrl K), or the Review agent inbox link on the Career Agent card once your agent is active.
  2. If setup is incomplete, QuickCV shows what's missing instead of your kits, with a Complete agent setup link back to Career Agent.
  3. If setup is complete but Career Agent isn't active yet, QuickCV shows an Activate agent link instead of kits — nothing searches overnight until you turn it on.

An active, empty inbox is a valid state, not an error: it means Career Agent is running but hasn't found a pending kit yet. Return after an overnight search rather than expecting a kit immediately.

Review and decide

Open a pending kit and check the matched role, tailored resume, cover letter, and job details it drafted. Confirm the details are still accurate and that the external posting is still live.

Use the approve and dismiss buttons, or the supported swipe gesture on a touch layout — a gesture never replaces the visible buttons, so use them when swiping is difficult or ambiguous. Approve when you want to keep working with the kit. Dismiss when the role isn't relevant.

Expected result

Approving or dismissing removes the kit from your inbox stack, and QuickCV shows the next pending kit if one exists. Dismissing also lets QuickCV factor that decision into future overnight matches. Approval does not submit the application for you — continue to the employer's site yourself after your final review.
