Create and use an application kit

Before you start

Choose a job match and a saved source resume. Application-kit creation uses Pro tools and preserves the original resume.

Create the kit

1. Open the matched job.
2. Choose the application-kit action.
3. Review the role and source resume.
4. Start generation.
5. Wait for the tailored resume, matching cover letter, and match report to finish.

QuickCV creates a separate tailored resume and packages the available documents into a ZIP.

Review and use the kit

Open each generated item and verify facts, employer details, and role language. Download the ZIP, or redownload an earlier completed kit. Continue to the external application only after reviewing the employer's posting and submission requirements.

Handle partial failure

If the source resume was deleted, select an available resume and start again. If one asset or the ZIP fails, keep completed saved assets and retry the failed action rather than recreating everything repeatedly. The original resume remains unchanged.
