Export your resume

Download your resume as PDF, Word, QuickCV JSON, or JSON Resume.

Before you export

Open the resume and wait for the save indicator to confirm Saved. Review the preview, contact details, dates, links, and section order first.

PDF export requires QuickCV Pro. Other available formats may have different plan requirements or editing purposes.

Choose an export format

Use the resume export controls to choose:

  • PDF for a polished application-ready document;
  • Word for an editable DOCX file;
  • QuickCV JSON for a native backup;
  • JSON Resume for the interoperable JSON Resume format.

Keep a QuickCV backup when you may need to restore structured data later. A PDF or Word file is not a substitute for the editable QuickCV source.

Download the file

Start the export once and wait for success feedback. Your browser downloads the generated file when it is ready.

If generation fails, confirm the resume is saved, then retry once. Do not repeatedly start the same export while one is pending. A persistent error does not delete the resume; contact support with the format and exact message.
