Generate a cover letter with AI

Before you start

AI cover-letter generation requires QuickCV Pro and a saved resume. Prepare the job title, company, job description, and hiring manager name when known.

Generate the draft

1. Open Cover Letters and choose the AI generation action.
2. Select the resume that best represents the application.
3. Enter the job title and company.
4. Add the hiring manager and complete job description when available.
5. Generate the cover letter.

QuickCV uses the selected resume and job context to create a saved draft.

Review the result

Confirm that the draft uses the correct company, role, experience, and tone. Remove generic claims and any statement not supported by the resume. Add a specific reason for applying when appropriate.

If generation fails, keep the input and retry once. A failed generation does not change the selected resume. Open the saved draft in the editor to refine and download it.
